Ian Rossow

Ian is a seasoned Health, Safety & Risk professional with experience working in various large organisations across a very diverse range of industries since 1998.  Ian brings extensive leadership experience to QRMC, having held senior and executive level positions in safety and risk management since the mid-2010s.

Having held roles from advisor to executive leader and safety inspector to consultant; Ian personally understands the challenges and opportunities that all safety professionals face.  Ian has developed, implemented and audited safety management systems and created bespoke solutions to unique risk challenges for most of his career.

Ian can help your organisation’s certification and accreditation by drawing upon his many years of experience leading organisations compliance in this space.  In previous roles, Ian has been responsible for Self-Insurance Licence requirements; certification to ISO 9001 (Quality); ISO 14001 (Environment); ISO 45001 (OHS) and accreditation with the Office of Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC).

Ian has completed several formal qualifications and short courses; and has a passion for continually learning how he can improve personally and professionally.  Ian’s formal qualifications and experience allow him to provide credible, practical and operationally focused safety solutions.

After successfully developing and implementing safety and risk strategies across many large organisations, Ian is available now to help your organisation on their safety journey to improve outcomes for your workers.  Great performance in safety is an outcome of how well your organisation operates and not just the number of injuries sustained.  Operational efficiency, reliability and management of safety risks are not opposing and can be managed together.
